Hello! My name is Myrie. I am from a small community on Vancouver Island, on the west coast of Canada. I have a Bachelor of Arts (double major in English and Liberal Arts) from Bishop’s University, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia. I’ve taught in Japan, South Korea, and Canada, and am thrilled to join the BCCIS team here in Cairo. I strive to make my classroom an inclusive and supportive place, and enjoy creating hands-on, engaging activities. I’m looking forward to a fun year of learning ahead with my students! When not teaching, I love exploring new places, both near and far from home. I also enjoy yoga, art, and spending time outdoors.
