I graduated from BCCIS in 2014. From there, I went onto Misr International University, majoring in Marketing Communications. In my previous job, I planned volunteer events and handled company CSR initiatives. I am currently the Project Manager of “Ghalya” initiative by ALEXBANK, an initiative for empowering women with the aim of putting women in Egypt at the forefront of business.
One of the events of which I’m most proud of is “YES Yoga Day: Say No to Violence” an event to raise awareness around violence against women. The proceeds from this event went to a partnered project between ALEXBANK and ACT NGO to combat early marriage among the community of Manial Shiha.
I recently launched a “Gift of Impact” under the name of “Sokoon”, an initiative to celebrate International Women’s Day in collaboration with the National Council for Women and Threads of Hope Center. The gift is composed of a small pouch and a mask. The pouch is designed with an illustration of a “home” and filled with crafts that represent the refugee women's memories of their homes. The female refugees had their voices heard through their art and craft of embroidery, delicately handcrafted by hand, from their heart, and through their memories. In addition, the NCW contributed medical masks with strong messages of women’s empowerment. “Sokoon” is the start of many initiatives by ALEXBANK that support refugees in Egypt! Today, I work as the CSR & Creating Shared Value Officer at ALEXBANK.

I am currently a member of the Student Union at the AUC and coaching U12/U14 and U16 football teams at BCCIS. I spent 5 years of my time at BCCIS on the football teams which taught me teamwork, sportsmanship and most importantly that hard work is the key. I hope I can pass this mentality on to my players now as a coach. I spent 11 years at BCCIS and call this place my second home. I look forward to the future ahead but will always know I have the BCCIS family in my roots.
