My teaching journey began at Canadian International School in Phnom Penh. Cambodia where I taught grade 3 Alberta curriculum in tandem with IB (International Baccalaureate) as well as Art. I returned to Canada for 2 years to teach middle school Humanities, Social Studies and English Language Arts, as well as high school Art and Photography. I am excited to continue facilitating creative, engaging, and meaningful art learning opportunities within the BCCIS community. Prior to teaching, I was a self-employed photographer and artist. I have a great appreciation for music and am passionate about self expression through creativity, and I love to explore and photograph the nooks and crannies of the world. I also Hello! My name is Clementine O’Farrell and this is my second year at BCCIS. I am originally from Ontario in Canada, although I have lived most of my life on the British Columbian coast. I became a teacher because I am passionate about lifelong learning and inspiring learning in others. I am excited about BC’s new curriculum which focuses on competencies like critical thinking, communication, and personal awareness. These competencies are essential in our ever-changing modern world! I strive to make connections with all students so that I can tailor lessons to their needs. I am passionate about many things, including food, reading, social justice, and spending time outdoors.enjoy reading, watching films, riding my bicylce, and cooking and eating delicious food.
